Whether you’re contemplating a new relationship, just started dating, ready to take it to the next level, or have been together for many years, couples counseling can provide a safe place to explore different communication styles, cycles of behavior, and attachment patterns. It can be a space to repair and heal, deepen your relationship, or strengthen what’s already working well.
Couples sessions last 60-90 minutes, and may include one initial session with each individual separately if we decide that would be beneficial.
I completed Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 training and plan to continue with Levels 2 and 3. I am also continuing my education with ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) for couples, and emotionally focused couples therapy (Sue Johnson).
